'Grow Our Own' scheme reaps rewards

CPM's 'Grow Our Own' (GOO) internal talent management scheme has now been running for two and a half years, and to date CPM (UK) has successfully brought eight people through the business to be promoted to the role of Client Service Manager (CSM).

Says Suzanne Roberts, HR Director:
"The scheme was set up initially to help 'get, grow and keep' our people, and to provide a fast track development programme, focusing individuals on their development and giving them the tools and on-the-job experience necessary for the CSM role. There are currently nine more employees who are on the programme, working towards being the new graduates in 2010".

Among the recent GOO graduates' comments have been: "I don't think I would have been able to move within the business as quickly without it" and "It was motivating, stretching and rewarding."
